What is Minshuku？

Minshuku is basically a self-service guest house. Please make your own bed. We do not have service charge.

Does the room have toilet?

No. Each floor has Japanese style and Western style (Bidet-style) toilet for both men and women.

Does the room have TV

Yes. It is free of charge.

Do you provide toiletry?

Yes. Towel、Bath towel、Toothbrush and Japanese bathrobe.

Is there any soap?

Body soap, hair conditioner, shampoo are well equipped in the bathroom.

Do you have hair dryer?

Yes. It is equipped at the mirror area of the bathroom.

Can we eat in the room?

For dinner only, 10% extra service fee is needed (from 2 people). However, some days may not be possible, please contact us in advance.

Please tell me the time for bath.

16:00 – 22:00 (sometimes until 23:00)
6:00 – 8:00
However, the time may change due to maintenance and other special situation.

When stay for more than 1 day, will the dinner menu be the same?

No. The menu will change.

Can I rent the outdoor bath privately?

We are sorry to inform you that we do not have private rental for outdoor bath now.

Is there any pick up service?

Pick up service only available for group using (10 people or more). Pick up point is either in front of exit 1 of subway Kokusaikaikan station or Eizan Electric Railway Yase Station). However, for dinning only customer, pick up service is only available for group more than 15 people. Reservation is required.

Can I use credit card?

Yes.

However, customer who have reserved special discount plan, reservation made at other booking site or using single day visit plan cannot change payment method that fixed at the beginning.

Please tell me how to access to Ohara Sanso？

Ohara can only be access by Kyoto Bus. Kyoto Bus has bus stops at JR Kyoto Station, Kenhan Sanjo, Hankyu Shijyo Kawaramachi, Subway Kokusaikaikan station, etc.

Can you keep my luggage before check in or after check out?

Yes. However, we do not keep valuables. We also have other carry services.

Can I enter the Minshuku before check in? After check out, can I stay at the Minshuku?

Extra cost is required if you would like to enter the room before check in time or extend your staying time. Extra cost: 1080 yen per room per hour. However, some occasion it is not possible to check in earlier or check out later.

Do you provide towel for single day visit plan?

No. Towel is charge. Towel 150yen, Bath towel 120yen.
